Over the years we have seen many pool liner trends come and go. For example in 2004 pool owners were much more interested in lighter blues and grays when it came to choosing a pool liner color. Over the next ten years that trend shifted to darker blues and prism designs. As the largest pool liner installer in the State of Georgia we are in a unique position to spot trends as they begin to develop. At Lazy Day Pools we believe the biggest trend in pool liners for the year 2016 will be “mix and match pool liners”.
Mix and Match Pool Liners
Consumers today expect every product they buy to be customizable. The pool liner industry is no different. Mix and match pool liners allow the customer to choose the specific waterline tile print design they want and match it up with the specific bottom print design they want to create a custom swimming pool liner that they love. Before 2015 almost all pool liners were made using pre-printed wall patterns that could not be mixed and matched with different pool bottom designs. This meant that many pool liner customers had to choose between the design they liked at the waterline and the design they liked on the pool bottom under the waterline. Well not anymore. Lazy Day started selling mix and match liners in 2015 and customers seem to love the flexibility these liners offer. Just pick your tile design and pick your bottom design and they will make the liner just the way you want. Pool liners have come a long way in the past 30 or 30 years and 2016 will most certainly be the year of the customizable pool liner.
