Over the years we have noticed that the market has made a clear choice in which type of swimming pool safety cover is preferred. Our customer’s choose mesh safety covers 98% of the time. Below is a list of some of the reasons our customers give us for making this choice.
Cost / Price: The mesh safety cover costs about $700 less (on average) than the solid safety cover.
No Pump Needed: Rain water drains naturally through the mesh after just a few minutes. A solid safety cover requires a pump to drain the water off of the cover. The problem that many our customers have run into in the past is that the pump can go bad wthout the customer knowing that it has gone bad. By the time they look out their back window at the pool there may be tons of rain water on the cover which can seriously damage the cover straps.
Lighter: The mesh material is significantly lighter than the solid safety cover material. This makes iteasy for one person to put the cover on in the fall or take the cover off in the spring.
